RS MSU S-G HG/V
(Raschel Weft insertion machine for geogrids)
By means of this Raschel machine, force-absorbing threads oriented in directions 0° and 90° are mechanically bonded with a web by knitting threads during the knitting process. The stitch-forming knitting yarn system fixes the other thread layers according to pattern and mostly stretched onto the pre-bonded web. The oriented reinforcements ensure remarkably high tear resistance values of the composite fabric which can be exactly adapted to the field of application. Within the knitted geocomposite, the thread layers maintain reinforcement and support features and the webs stand for erosion protection, separation and filtering. The wide variety of yarn types and yarn counts contributes to the versatility of this machine with web feed.
