IoT gateways connect things such as sensors, machines, appliances, and facilities to the internet. The IoT gateways first communicate and acquire data from things, perform simple calculations on the acquired data, if required, and then makes the data available on the internet. The connection mechanisms to the IoT gateways vary with available options, such as LAN, mobile networks, etc.
EcoAxis IoT gateways allow acquisition of up to 10,000 parameters from single or multiple things at the same time. Multiple data acquisition groups can be configured on our gateways to sample different data at different sampling frequencies which vary from 1 second to 1 day.
EcoAxis IoT gateways can perform simple scaling calculations, data type castings, and basic edge computing as required by the application. EcoAxis IoT gateways have the capability to provide up to 48 hours of data backup and storage in case of loss of internet connectivity, while the compression algorithms ensure optimal usage of the storage space and internet bandwidth.
Our IoT gateways use standard, secure protocols to transfer data from the field to cloud servers in proprietary file formats, which provides fast data transfer with smaller internet data plans. Our gateways support simple network time protocol (SNTP), remote firmware upgrade, and configuration features.
